School has started once again, and Stillwater is once again filled with people traveling near and far to come back to campus. Stillwater will be home away from home for many students throughout the school year, but what are a few items that bring the comfort of home to Oklahoma State? Here are a handful of items students take with them to feel more at home and relaxed during the semester.

“Lysol wipes. Always.” — Teressa Brown, a junior as a double pre-med major

“My gaming setup” — Thess Holloway, a freshman in theater

“I can’t leave without my purse. I carry my whole life in there.” — Avery Lagaly, a freshman in biomolecular sciences

“I can’t live without a hoodie. I’m always freezing anywhere I go.” — Trey Powell, a third year student in fashion merchandising

“Anywhere I go I take a small blanket. Even if I’m driving there and back. I get cold so easily.” — Kadence Bazor, a freshman in animal science pre-veterinarian

“My emotional support water bottle.” — Joy Reece, a freshman in hospitality and tourism management

“A jacket because I get cold fast.” — Alissianna Horner, a freshman in biochemistry

“Polaroids of my pets.” — Marci Strait, a sophomore in technical theater

“Soy sauce.” — an Oklahoma State alumnus

“I absolutely cannot leave home without my Minecraft bee plush.” — Muriel Thompson, a sophomore in pre-law

“I obviously can’t leave my AirPods behind.” — Evan Taylor, a freshman in business management

“My purple giraffe stuffed animal. I have had it since high school. Still have it now as a senior.” — Bailey James, a senior in business management with a concentration in human resources
